On April 29th, Tamia among others will be hosting a celebotroy event saulting mothers staying the L.A Ronald McDonald House. The event will include special treats for the mothers such as manicures, massages, make-up tips, consultations and plenty more!

Sorry about the lack of updates lately. Not too much is going on with Tamia as of now. I plan on updating the site with more media and photos sometime this week. I've been so busy with work and school and my new Mya Fansite I have coming up that I haven't had too much time to devote to the site.

Tamia will be one of the many on the list of performers set to honor Quincy Jones prestigious ASCAP Pied Piper Award. The ceremony will take place on will take place at the Nokia Theatre on Tuesday, April 22. It hasn't been said if the ceremony will air on tv. I will keep you updated with the details.

Sorry everyone for the lack of updates, i've been so busy I haven't got a chance to update the site as much as I would like. Not too much is going on with Tamia as of right now, I'm still waiting on confirmed tour dates. It came to my attention today that some of the files in the media center require a password. I apologize about this, but before I opened the media center I was going to require a password, i changed my mind and thought I deleted all the old zip files and I guess some of them didn't delete. I will be fixing that problem today, so if your trying to download files or if theres a certain file you really want you can email me. Again I apologize about the inconvenience.
Well as you can see not too much is going on with Tamia at the moment. (I'm still waiting to hear the confirmed dates for her tour is.) So until I get some more recent news on Tamia I figured I would just keep updating the site with media and photos.
I've added to the media center an unreleased song 'Be Alright', the song features Mario Winans. It was suppose to be released from her 2004 album 'More', but never made the cut. You can download it below by clicking the link.

When Tamia arrived on the music scene in 1998, she was already a shining star. Beautiful, poised, talented and shepherded by music legend Quincy Jones, Tamia found almost immediate success with the Grammy-nominated track “You Put A Move On My Heart” and the chart-topping single “So Into You.”
Thereafter, though she found regular success on subsequent recordings with hits like the Grammy-nominated "Spend My Life with You" and “Stranger In My House”, Tamia struggled to separate herself from the pack of up and coming R&B divas languishing on the rosters of every major American record label. But that all changed in 2005 when the petite songstress struck out on her own, formed an independent record label and released Between Friends, an album that represents her best and most personal work to date.
In between rehearsals for her upcoming tour, I caught up with Tamia for a chat about the ongoing success of her first independent release, her big lesbian following and what it means to be ‘goofy with an attitude.’

For someone who's been in the music industry for a decade and some change, Tamia is somewhat of an anomaly as far as female R&B singers go. She’s gorgeous, but wears her beauty more like a beaded couture gown than a sequined party dress. She’s accomplished, but her success isn’t anything close to the tidy rags-to-riches stories that publicists dream about. She’s not bourgie or pretentious, nor is she teetering on the kind of headline-making dementia that’s afflicting so many other Black celebs these days. Her persona, like her voice, is refreshing. If anyone shatters the image of the over-hyped, over-pampered R&B diva, this is her.
While browsing various celebrity fansites, I saw that a lot of them were making birthday books/projects for their particular celebrity, so I was thinking why not make one for Tamia? and with that make a Tamia fanbook? I would basically be putting a mini site together so Tamia fans can leave their birthday wishes for Tamia since her bday is not too far away, or with the fanbook, fans can leave their comments about Tamia. I can contact Tamia's management so she can get it...let me know what you guys think.....

R&B darling Keisha White (Why Do You Call Me) will share the stage with Tamia (Who Do You Tell); Joan Amatrading (More Than One Kind Of Love) and Siphokazi will be performing at a concert at Witbank Dam on April 6,3008. Finally after a month of being closed, the site has been relaunched with a new host and a brand new layout. I worked soo hard on this site, as far as improving the content, layout etc. I'm proud to announce that the site has a new co-web; Marisol, she will be helping out with the site, adding news, etc. There are a couple of additions I have added to the site such as the Media Center; I've added tons of audio (and more to come) here, such as snippets, videos and more! The photo gallery is also open as well. I've made a new layout, and have added over 100 new pictures, in total we now have 1000+ pictures in the gallery! (YAY!!) Currently you don't have to register to view the gallery, however if I see people still stealing pictures from the site I will fix it to user registration. I'm testing this for a couple of weeks... If your wondering....the fanlisting will be up and running by the end of this week, I'm currently experiences problems with the script but I will have it up ASAP.
